Simple 4-phase process

From survey to subsidy

  1. Phase 1

    Site Survey

We visit your roof, check shadow-free area, structure and your sanctioned load, then finalise system size and quote.

  2. Phase 2

    Portal Registration

We register you on the National Portal for PM Surya Ghar, choose WBSEDCL / CESC, and file the application with your documents.

  3. Phase 3

    DISCOM Inspection & Net Meter

After installation, the DISCOM inspects the plant and replaces your meter with a bi-directional net meter. We coordinate every visit.

  4. Phase 4

    Direct DBT Subsidy

Once commissioning is certified on the portal, the central subsidy is credited directly to your bank account by DBT.

FAQs

Questions we hear most

Timelines depend on DISCOM inspection schedules and document completeness, and typically run from a few weeks after installation. We pre-check paperwork and follow up with WBSEDCL / CESC on your behalf so there are no avoidable delays.

The application must be made by the electricity consumer for the premises. If you own the building, you are covered. Tenants or flat owners generally need a written no-objection from the owner or society. Our team will tell you exactly which documents apply to you.

Yes, but at reduced output, often a fraction of a clear day. System sizing is based on annual average generation (around 120 units per kW per month), so good sunny months balance out the monsoon. Net metering carries surplus credits forward.

A standard on-grid system switches off during a grid outage for safety. If you want backup, choose a hybrid system with a battery, which keeps selected loads running.

Very little. Rinse the panels periodically to remove dust and bird droppings, and keep the area shadow-free. We offer annual service visits, and panels carry a 25-year performance warranty.

Residential consumers with a valid electricity connection and a suitable roof who install a grid-connected rooftop system through a registered vendor. Commercial and industrial consumers are not covered by the residential subsidy. Eligibility and rates are set by the government and may change.
